Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION

To support the Deputy Finance / Finance Manager with business accounting activities. This includes Ecommerce bookkeeping, reconciling company accounts, performing day to day activities and assisting in month end closings.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

  • Preparation and verification of all type of vouchers and recording those into the financial management system (FMS)
  • Process and verify Bank Reconciliations and Vendor Reconciliations.
  • Accounts payable management including keeping record of invoice, verification, allocation, posting, reconciliation and payment;
  • Review and finalize payments against the invoices received from the Ecommerce platforms, as per the authorization matrix.
  • Assisting in Preparing prepayments schedule.
  • Adhere to the budget of expenses set by the management and timely report on changes required to the forecast.
  • FAR preparation and Deprecation run.
  • Preparation of Financial statements and Tax Return as per US law.
  • Prepare monthly statement of tax deducted as per US law.

General Tasks

  • Assist in Adhoc reporting to the management;
  • Support month-end and year-end closing process;
  • Bring improvements to the process of financial reporting to bring efficiency;
  • Correspondence with US vendors through written and oral communication for compliance.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Finance.
  • 2 – 3 years of relevant experience (Ecommerce background will be preferable)

OTHER SKILLS

  • Solid accounting knowledge with a demonstration towards an understanding of all aspects of budgets, auditing reports, financial, forecasts.
  • Leadership skills with ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
  • Quick learner with ability to gasp new ideas, methods and technologies rapidly.
  • Good hands-on MS Office (especially Word, Excel, and PP)
  • Must have good knowledge of QuickBooks online.
  • Possess excellent relationship development skills; among internal and external vendors and team members.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to Multitask & Prioritize.
  • Job Timings: Monday to Friday (2:00PM to 11:00PM)
